- Open Word 2010
- Select the ‘File’ menu then ‘Info’
- Select the ‘Manage Versions’ button then ‘Recover Unsaved Documents’
- From the list select your unsaved document then ‘Open’
- Then finally click on the ‘Save As’ button to save your document
